I asked God

Give me power

But he made ​​me weak

As I learn the simplicity and humility.

I asked him to help me

To do great deeds.

But he dropped me

As I do good deeds.

I asked him to give me wealth

Me to be happy

But he made ​​me poor

To become wise.

I asked him all things

So I can enjoy life.

But He gave me life

So I can taste everything.

I have not received anything

From everything I've asked

But I got everything

What was good for me.

Against my will

My pleas were heard.

They are among people

A blessed man.
